The Dyara Bugyal trek is a beautiful and relatively less-traveled trekking destination located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas. It offers a wonderful opportunity to explore pristine meadows, dense forests, and breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks. Here's a brief overview of the Dyara Bugyal trek.

Trek Information


• Start your journey from Dehradun, which serves as the gateway to the trek.
• Drive to Sankri, a picturesque village and the starting point of the trek. The drive takes approximately 7-8 hours.

• Begin your trek from Sankri to Juda Ka Talab.
• The trail takes you through dense forests of oak and pine trees, with occasional views of the snow-capped peaks.
• Arrive at Juda Ka Talab, a small frozen pond, and set up camp for the night.

• Trek from Juda Ka Talab to the Kedarkantha Base Camp.
• As you ascend, the landscape changes from forests to meadows, and you'll begin to see panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
• Reach the base camp and camp overnight.

• Wake up early to start the summit push to Kedarkantha.
• The climb to the summit offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks and the surrounding landscape.
• Enjoy the views from the summit and descend back to the Kedarkantha Base Camp for the night.

• Descend from the base camp to Hargaon.
• The trail takes you through beautiful meadows and forests.
• Arrive at Hargaon and camp for the night.

• Trek from Hargaon back to Sankri.
• This is the final day of trekking.
• Celebrate your successful trek upon reaching Sankri.

• After breakfast, drive back to Dehradun.
• Reach Dehradun, marking the end of the trek.
